Creation:

The E.NA.GEO was created in 1981 (81-172 decree of 01/08/1981) from the following structures of Sonatrach:

- Former Algerian Company of Geophysics (ALGEO; joint-venture between Sonatrach and Teledyne established on the 1st March 1967) The geophysics department of Direction Travaux Pétroliers (DTP)

-  Topographic Department of Direction Travaux Pétroliers (DTP)

- The seismic processing structure of Computing Center.

Succession of Shareholders:

13th February 1989: the company has grown to autonomy under the status of EPE (Economic Public Enterprises) with a registered capital of 10 million dinars Algerian distributed among the three Participation Fund:

·        Mining - Oil - Hydraulics (40%),

·        Food Industries (30%),

·        Chemical, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical (30%).

28th December 1994: the Participation Fund of agribusiness Industries
 sells its shares to Participation Fund of Mining Oil-Hydraulic.

23rd September 1995: the Participation Fund of Chemicals, Petrochemicals and Pharmaceuticals in turn gives its shares to Mining-Hydraulic Oil Fund Participation and then becomes the only shareholder of E.NA.GEO.

6th July 1997: The Mining Oil-Hydraulics Participation Fund is replaced by the Holding of  Public Achievements and Great Works (HP RGT).

11th March 1998: the Holding of  Public Achievements and Great Works sells 51% of its shares to Sonatrach Holding Oil Services (SSP - Spa).

 

3rd June, 2000: merger of Holdings " Public Achievements and Great Works” and "Building & Construction Materials” gives birth to the Holding of Public Projects and Building Materials" HP RMC " then becomes the new shareholder of 49% of E.NA.GEO actions.

12th  September 2001:

·        Transfer of Holding of Public Projects and Building Materials (dissolved) in favor of the Company of Investment Management of Energy Works (TRAVEN).

·        Transfer of Shares of the Sonatrach Holding of Oil Services (SSP-Spa) at Holding Services Para-Petroleum (SPP - Spa) born from the reorganization of the equity portfolio of the branch subsidiaries and affiliates of Sonatrach.

1st January 2005: the Participation Management Company INDJAB absorbs the Company of Investment Management of Energy Works (TRAVEN) (49%).

28th December 2005: the Participation Management Company INDJAB sells its shares (49%) to Sonatrach Holding of Services Para-Oil (SPP- Spa) and then becomes the only shareholder of E.NA.GEO, change materialized on the last update of the Statutes of the Company on 22nd March 2006.

Following these changes, the company's statutes were brought into line several times, without any modification on the object, the name, duration or activity of company.
